The people who can’t clean up after themselves after using the restroom. fricking disgusting. Just wipe your own piss off the toilet seat. What makes you think others wanna clean that shite up?

One other thing about the bathroom - the guys who walk in and go to the bathroom while they are on a loud phone call. If I’m in there and I can tell they are on an “important” call, I’ll immediately flush to give them away.

The person who gets the King Cake baby and hides it so nobody knows they got it. Or the person who got the doll and never brings a King Cake. In 1 word - freeloaders.

The one who comes in a hour before she has to be at work and completely ignores the fact that there are other departments at work, while she sits in her cube, talks to someone every morning to complain about all of her problems. ALL of her problems.

I didn't know this woman's name for about 4 months and I knew that her and her husband hadn't had sex in over 2 weeks because she was mad at him over something to do with how he handled something with his daughter.

For over a week she was pissed that her husband bought his 14 year old a cell phone and that his ex wife was okay with it.

She was tired of the trailer they lived in because it didn't have enough room when her husband's two kids stayed with them every other week..

There was always someone she was going to "tell them about themselves".

We were not sure if she either didn't know she was being as loud as she was or just didn't care that the several people there heard her business, but on a few occasions she wasn't in the mood to deal with whatever drama she had going on because she was on her period.

She became like a Soup Opera. Then her department moved somewhere else and while it was annoying AF, we wanted to know how things would end up, because everyone was sure her husband would leave her.

Secretaries/admin who act way more stressed about shuffling papers than the execs they work for who have to put up with the actual stress/bs of deadlines, client service etc.

It's a bandwidth issue...there's a reason they don't ever rise higher than a secretary/admin.

My coworkers are all in other states, but I have an office in a shared coworking space. The amount of people that just leave their dirty dishes in the sink for days/weeks astounds me. Legit, the only reason any of it gets cleaned is because I get annoyed after 2 weeks of them sitting there and put them into the dishwasher.

Who puts dishes in a sink and walks away in a public space? Who exactly do they think is coming after them and cleaning it?

Well, nevermind. It's me. frick.

Most annoying to me are the ones who declare themselves the hall monitors and keep note of how many times someone is 15 minutes late or leaves an hour or so early. Usually this role is claimed by a woman.

Yep, "hall monitors" is the best way of describing this type of person. Quite frankly, while I might internally think to myself "That's strange that this person showed up so late or left so early" it's ultimately none of my business and I don't care that much.

I think it's a sign of taking your job too seriously when you're keeping tabs on all this type of stuff and reporting to the supervisor.

The ones who park their car in two parking spaces

This one reminds me of one of my biggest annoyances.

When I park on the far end of the parking lot all by myself and some jack wagon has to park right on top of me with empty spaces for 100 feet in all directions.

I just witnessed an example of that. This woman was very good-natured, smart, and helpful. About 9 months ago they gave her a supervisory title and one meager low-level employee to manage. I don't know exactly what happened, but about 3 months ago she was fired outright- a "gone pecan" after 8-10 years with the company and a cross-country move. I had noticed that she seemed a little bit more arrogant the last time I interacted with her. I suspect she ended up losing her cool and saying something she couldn't come back from. They'd have worked with her otherwise.

Not sure if mentioned yet, but the one that always annoyed me is the guy who sends an email and then immediately calls or walks down to my office to let me know they sent email and talk about it.

I used to work for a lady like this. I was in a small accounting department right after getting out of public accounting, and her boss, my big boss, was a stickler about being on time, staying all day, not taking more than an hour for lunch etc. I was used to 60+ hour weeks, so 40-45 hour weeks there was a breeze.

The rest of the company was more marketing/sales/project manager types, and she was keeping track of when people got in and left. I guess she thought it was a company wide thing about time in your desk, and not just a preference from her boss. She said something to the owner of the company about it, and he just laughs at her and asks how much of her valuable work time was spent tracking this and if she had stayed late to make up that time. She quit keeping tabs on everyone after that.

You're very lucky that the owner of the company didn't care. When my former colleague essentially snitched on me to my supervisor, my supervisor had a total meltdown.

Keep in mind that I had absolutely nothing of substance to do from 8 to 8:15 and I could have easily just been in the bathroom or talking to another colleague around the building. But because I wasn't planted at my desk with Teams up, she acted like I had committed a crime against humanity.

So if y'all ever are "wondering" where an employee is, just message them privately if you absolutely have to know. Don't post in the Teams group in the supervisor looking to embarrass/snitch on that person.
