Reminds me of the police dispatch call where the guy called in and said his wife had been stabbed on sycamore street. When the dispatcher asked him to spell it he said "I'll just drag her over to Oak street".

So my autist brain knows why it has this long name.

It was a publicity stunt to give the train station the longest name in Britain, coined by a Tailor of all people.

The name describes different locations in that town all mashed into one word.

St Marys Church in the hollow of the white hazel near to the rapid whirlpool of llantysilio of the red cave translates to Llanfair­pwllgwyngyll­gogery­chwyrn­drobwll­llan­tysilio­gogo­goch
