Never lived up North, but I don't see how it could be any more miserable than it is right now.

Is it supposed to be hot? Yes.
Do I have to like that “hot” is now 100+ heat index with 65+ degree dew point that makes it feel like pea soup for days? Absolutely fricking not.
I don’t like it anymore than I like negative wind chills in winter. Or ice storms. Give me fall and spring.

I can add more layers, but I can only get so naked. Lived up north for the first half of my life, dealt with negative temperatures, multi week power outages, massive snow/ice storms, etc. Would take that for a couple months out of the year with more mild summers any day over these southern heat waves.

I'll take cool/crisp/sunny/low humidity all day..
Hell, I would rather it be snowing than 98 and humid.

Look no more than where do people move when they finally retire from a working career.
Nobody retires and moves up North.
Sure, its hot, but actually early mornings can be pleasant, even this time of year.

I’ll take 94 over 34 everyday. Temps in the 90’s isn’t the best, but it doesn’t make my bones hurt like temps in the 30’s.

Deep south. As hot as it gets in Colorado with no AC in my house, will always be better than Baton Rouge in July/August

I lived in the Midwest for awhile. Winters are brutal, but on top of that, you take your life in your hands every time you get behind the wheel in winter. Black ice is no joke.
