I don’t think anyone ever starts using and says, “I hope I get addicted to this, it completely ruins my life, and I eventually die from it”.

Was with a couple chicks a few years ago that had a fentanyl patch. The squeezed some of the fentanyl gel out on foil and smoked it. They loved it and we had a 3 way.
That’s all I got.

Yeah the only thing I can think of is musicians using it. But I guess it might be part of the scene, or was.
Seems like so many artists od over the years yet they keep doing it. That's the only real group that I can be like, why would you just start shooting up?

I dated a girl that told me she snorted heroin once bc all her friends were doing it. it blew my mind that someone could do such a stupid thing. I asked her what happened to that group of friends. Two of them died due to an OD.

A friends son got hooked on Heroin, ended up robbing a couple of pharmacies and went to jail for a while. When he got out I was talking to him and thought "here is an intelligent college educated kid I can ask a question to".
"I always wanted to ask. What is heroin like? Is it as awesome as sex?"
The kid laughed and said "Sex isn't even on the same plane. Let me put it like this. If I was on the couch and had just shot up and the house caught on fire; i would be so relaxed and feeling so good that it would be a serious question whether it was worth getting up and leaving the house." That explanation made me realize how strong of a drug it is.

I got fentanyl before surgery three months ago. I felt calm more than euphoric. I could see that being very addictive for those in terrible emotional pain.

I was given it after I broke my ankle by the EMTS and after surgery. I also was given opiates after surgery to take at home.
I must be "lucky". My ankle still hurt, I never felt high, and it gave me constipation. I mean it did dull the pain, but it still hurt and as I said I never approached anything nearing euphoria.
