Uncle was a captain in the Army in WW2, and a cousin who was a lieutenant in the Air Force at the end of Vietnam war.

My dad is a retired E-9 and I'm a retired E-8. Does that count?

Uncle was a 1 star Admiral when he retired.
I worked for a living as an E-5.
Actually he busted his arse his whole career to get what he got.
I reflect sometimes on what could have been if I had chosen my military career over my marriage. In the end the marriage didn't work so I lost both.
Life lesson, If you want something, go for it. If it's really a dream to do something, don't give it up for someone else dream. Worst case is you try and fail. That's an honor that most people who never try would love to have.
Carry on.

My dad was the youngest Chief Petty Officer in the Coast Guard during WW II at 25 years old. He ran the engine room, (a good place to stay warm on an Ice Breaker). They offered to make him an officer and he said no. (He said he'd rather be top of the bottom, than bottom of the top.) LOL

In 2010ish, the Army had the LSA at Ali, that was the best Chow Hall around. Soldiers didn’t actually cook, but were very involved in running it.
I was at AJ in 2016, they had some good wings.

1st cousin once removed made it to Vice Admiral and was in command of the Pacific Fleet after starting off as a fly boy. At one time, he had some kind of flight records, but I don't know if they held. He's on the board of some defense company now, obviously.

My grandfather retired as the highest enlisted rank, E-9. I don't know anyone that has a relative that achieved O-10, General/Admiral.
