This is what America is all about, different people from varying geographic and cultural backgrounds coming together to get mad at white people. It's beautiful.

Are Mexicans not allowed to cook Asian food? Because when I use to visit San Antonio, this was the regular at Golden Wok.

Sort of funny, but these guys and gals could really cook.

Cultural appropriation is cultural evolution. The best aspects are adopted and utilized. Those not worthwhile fall by the wayside. I don't understand why what race/ethnicity you are precludes you from enjoying all different types of food, art, music, and culture.

America is such a strange place. We used to be celebrated for being a cultural melting pot. Now that's called forced assimilation and is looked down upon.

Title is misleading as usual. How were they "forced to close"?

I can't imagine the level of brain washing it takes for a person to buy into ideas like cultural appropriation.

The whole idea of certain food/music/style for only certain people, is the kind of stereotyping and segregating idea that we are supposed to be moving away from, yet people are bringing it back. And they dont realize that they are dividing people into groups.

It's a complete contradiction of their alleged ethos of multiculturalism.

These people try to pay homage to the great food culture of our southern neighbors and get put out of business for it.

I wish they would just come out and say "white people shouldn't be allowed to exist". I'd respect them more if they just came out and said what they really feel.

"Those who believe that copying burrito making techniques is the crime of "cultural appropriation", surely also believe that illegally living in a neighboring country is a much greater "cultural appropriation" right?"

Does it amaze everyone that yesterday or last weeks "unbelievably stupid" story / heading is topped the following week without fail?

I think it's in human nature to never be truly content. There must always be some problem to solve or some injustice to correct.

When there isn't any real problems and people get bored, they'll invent problems like how awful it is that the white woman is selling burritos in a food truck. Why didn't anyone think of the children!!

You could go into any Restaurant's kitchen and say the same thing. What about the big Cajun food craze about 30 years ago. Everything Freakin BLACKENED.
But one of the comments was epic: "Love it when the left eats its own."

LOL, these Portland hippies don't support the poor brown people in Mexico.

Liberalism really is a mental disorder.

This is the dumbest fricking thing I read this month. This is another example of another risk element in starting a business today. You can do something that you don't even think about whether it would offend someone or not, but if there is something there or someone says something to a customer and the customer takes it the wrong way.. All of a sudden your business is at risk.

The left in general is insane because their thought process is based on what "feels right" rather than logic.

These same idiots would likely drive Mexican burrito makers out of business for being stereotypical.

Said by a black woman, no less. Ironically, it's probably the most racist thing I've read in a while. Implying that white people are A) predisposed to stealing and B) are not creative.

That's literally racism.

What?
How's that not a racist comment?
