Where you located baw?

I saw some yesterday at a baby/children's clothing store called Bundle of Joy in Lafayette (my wife dragged my arse in there....I'd much rather have been at Ambassador Wine and Spirits). They had a bunch of boy and girl elves sitting on the shelf (imagine that) with a bunch of accessories. You could probably spend $500 on them if you felt so inclined.

I don't understand why people hate the Elf so much. It really doesn't take much effort at all, and my kids love it.

You must be on year 1 or 2 in having one.

One day you will come to the conclusion that it was one of the worst inventions ever.

No hate for the player. You have to respect the person that came up with the idea and sold an elf to a majority of homes in America with young children.

Nope, on year 4. It is literally a few seconds of my night most nights, with the occasional elaborate staging.

I just don't get the hate.

What age is your kid?

That plays a big part in the elaborateness/repetitiveness.

One will be 7 in 2 months and other kid 4.

Figure I have maybe 2 years left with the older kid and who knows with the younger kid once the older knows it isn't real.

Tell them your elf wears an invisible cloak and has asked not to be seen because your kids are little punks who never act right and he wants to write a full report about how bad they are to give to santa.

Trust me, don't bring that misery and headache into your life.

Yea frick that little bastard. Whenever my boys asked why we didn't have an elf, we told them that elves only go to the bad kids' houses to spy on them for Santa.
