Where can I get a freaking Elf right now?

Haven’t done the Elf in the Shelf thing, when all of a sudden my kids start asking where our elf is and when is he coming. The wife has put me on a mission to find one. Every Walmart/Target/CVS/Walgreens I’ve checked are out. Amazon won’t deliver until right before or right after Christmas.
Suggestions on where can I get one this late in the game?

At this point you are probably SOL for this year.
I’ve seen a few at a couple random Walmarts and CVSes but those are very hit and miss because some stores still have a lot of some stuff while others have none of it.

The LSU elf has been on our shelf in the living room for a few years now.
I think I told them it was staying until they won another title after the 2020 season. Kids pointed it out again this year so I told them about Daniels winning the Heisman.

You know what? I'm not gonna tell you. It's not fair you only have to move it for like 6 days. If you weren't in since the day after Thanksgiving, you deserve to suffer like the rest of us have.

I don't understand why people hate the Elf so much. It really doesn't take much effort at all, and my kids love it.
There's only such a small window (6-7 years) where kids believe in the magic and fun of Christmas.
