original defense costs nearly 150K and the civil case cost an additional 100K.

Yep, regardless of whether the criminal court finds you not-guilty, you are going to be out a significant amount of cash in defense costs and then obviously the civil costs, because you know you will be sued. So, that car that you could get replaced with insurance is going to cost you way more in the long run outside of ending a sorry fricking thief's life.

Like I said, I would just let the dude ride off in the sunset unless he was actively trying to kill me.

Did you do dumb things when you were 17?

I can honestly say that I have never stolen a car. And certainly wouldn't tell the gun-wielding owner to frick off and not expect to be shot for it.

Then again, I may have a little more common sense...as evidenced by NOT STEALING A frickING CAR

This is what im thinking. If the guy is standing in front of the vehicle telling you to stop, and you start moving forward. Maybe just take the loss that you were caught and dont try to run the guy with a gun over?

frick i dont care anymore. Theives are just as big pieces of shite as the next and will just continue . Property crime is the one thing that affects everybody and the police usually cant do anything about it.

Were they really going to find this car? Was that kid really going to end up in jail? Nah, not before he stole more property or killed someone doing it.

Unless his life is in danger, he’s absolutely right. If the car is driving at him to kill him, yea he’s a cuck.

This thug pos is already stealing a car right in front of the dude, you think he’d think twice about killing the man if he tried to stop him?

When I clicked on this thread I expected it to be some strange story about someone getting murdered because they started jerking off in the passenger's seat

Then you and yoga can allow your property to be stolen and do nothing about it. I have no issues with someone protecting what is theirs, including using deadly force.

then maybe their culture needs to understand that other cultures don't want their stuff stolen and stick to stealing stuff from their own culture
