Problem with society. If thousands of assholes can get paid by the government to sit on their arse, why should the working class work harder to subsidize them?

This wouldn’t have happened with a white mechanic that’s for damn sure

WAAaaayyyyy more dangerous to drive to Orlando than fly.

That being said going to an airport is the worst thing I can think of. If I can drive it in 8 hours I ain't flying and if it is more than 8 hours away I probably ain't going. Its not flying, its airports and airlines that have driven me away. I spent about 4 years flying several times a week and it finally just got to be too much misery to contend with. Still enjoy an airport bar though...

But on the positive side I bet Boeing has worked hard to end racism and hire an excessive amount of non whites to prove it

if i can select my pilot or see them before I buy a ticket? fine. but there's a LOT more than just pilots that make this shite so dangerous. the minimal bar is seeing my pilot prior to ticket purchase.

The only way to remedy these types of issues is to have honest discussions about the causes of the Civil War.

Is this the new train derailment/wreck of 2024?

So you’d rather get on the interstate next to cars that haven’t had maintenance in 10 years and are being driven by alcoholics and drug users?

Very coincidental with the multiple recent events/close calls.

I wonder if there isn't some kind of terrorism hire in the maintenance facilities.

Planes not so much

More likely it is union maintenance either getting lazy or sabotaging things because they are pissed about their current labor contract.

Maybe I missed it, but I haven’t seen a big DEI push in maintenance

Not many Dems are screaming “we want to see more black people as mechanics!”

Pretty terrible logic when you consider the frequency of both.

This one isn't Boeing's fault.

Yeap. That's probably a 22yo airplane. That's on maintenance.

Maybe. I'm at least driving my vehicle and it's not 30 thousand feet in the air
