If cost wasn’t a factor I’d get a gently used Landcruiser or Sequoia.

Wait a year or two for the new LC platform to saturate. You'll likely find a babied 200 for a good price.

Big fan of the ‘24 grand highlander we have. Favorite though would be a 2018 or 2019 Land Cruiser if I were to be purchasing one for myself.

Wife has had many through the years, but my favorite is still my excursion with the Triton V-10. It’s a hunting buggy.

A paid off vehicle is my favorite. I keep my cars at least 10 years, but most have been longer. My wife has a big Buick Enclave but I do prefer my Honda Ridgeline.

The new Lexus GX is one of the only new vehicles that has gotten me excited. I don't typically care one bit about vehicles other than reliability and practicality, but damn I'm in love with them.

definitely want a SUV,

Aren’t true SUVs limited these days? Aren’t most of them crossovers now?

It is. And the 460 and 470s are slow AF. But they’re bullet proof and solid off-roaders if you need that.

Suburban/Yukon XL/Escalade with the 3.0 Duramax. Namely, with current models, the Yukon XL in the higher trims or the Escalade just because I hate the “stuck-on tablet” display trend and those avoid it.

They’re too expensive, though.
