About 375,000 people, give or take, depending on the source.

I am in Burnet County, Texas, population about 50,000, sa...lute.
Nearest town to my ranch is 7 miles and has a population of about 1,000.

We are about 50 miles from Austin, which has a metro population of about 2.5-million. My wife is ready to relocate to West Texas, where they still have a little elbow room. We hate going to town.

I live near the centroplex in central tx, centroplex, the population as of 2020 is 475000

Ditto.

I didn’t know any other TD posters were on here till UMHB was playing in the D3 NC and two or three posters from the area piped in.

I will say that there is an incredibly big difference between Killeen and Belton/Temple. That hill at Nolanville is a pretty big DMZ.

Where are you at?

when I first moved here around 2000 population was little over 200000

We moved here in 2009 and Temples population was 56k and it’s about 80k now. The growth has been “annoying” to say the least.

The nearest town is a village. And it has 440 people or so.

And I'm 10 miles from that nonsense.

Pretty much the same here. Closest town/village is at least 6 miles as the crow flies and maybe 9 by road.

Sort of feel like this...

Kentucky's alright but there's too many people
Well, just the other day, I thought I saw a church steeple"

I was in South Beach last weekend and drove around there and through Miami during one of the days there. That place feels like it goes on for days.

Certain parts of the day, yes.

For example, in the afternoons it takes me a lot longer than 15 minutes to get from city park to uptown Carrollton area.

The area where I live is about 20 people per square mile. The nearest town to me has 1,500 residents. I have no desire to live amongst a lot of people.

There’s nothing to do here, you guys wouldn’t like it.

Legal 530k
Illegals probably another 25k

The town I live in is 17k, but technically I’m outside city limits in 40 acres
