Depends on what survival resources I had to use. First off tho, I’d never allow myself to get to that point.

Always living in a bigger city’s downtown...I’ve thought about this a lot tho.

If I were, I’d hit up local businesses offering to do whatever I could for a few bucks (sweep parking lots, hold signs, etc) and bust my butt doing the best job I could until one of them noticed my desire, helped me out with some money to get started and a real job.

Find a local Home Depot, hang out in the parking lot hoping to get on with some day workers.


I damn sure would never hold my hand out on a corner and accept a lifestyle of wanting something for nothing while just chilling under a shaded bridge all day being content.

Ask for equal pay that all the millionaires have in Beverly Hills, so I can get a house there. Seems like that is the common theme today.

Homeless by choice?

I'd tent camp in the woods.

Homeless with my family? I'd get my wife to a women's shelter with the kids and continue to look for work (move if I have to)

I mentioned it in that thread about the rapper in Sweden. I'd save up or beg enough money to fly to Sweden. Clear customs and immediately rob a bank or something. Food, shelter, and leisure opportunities secured for 10 to 20.

Gonna have to apply for as many jobs as I can before I look "too" homeless. Get something minimum wage to just get the bare necessities. Hold out until Bernie is elected and live like a king..... in a country full of kings....until we go into a great depression.

I've got a theory about the idea that they have so overregulated the ability of of businesses to hire people for such jobs (all the healthcare stuff and push for "living wages", among a lot of other things), such that we have all but destroyed this sort of 'odd job' economy that used to be able to sustain a lot of these people living on the margins. Hence, we are seeing what we see today.

Probably turn to crime

Travel to Fred's house, offer to do all of his yard work if he sets me up with a cot and AC unit in his garage work shop. And feeds me occasionally. Stare into his window and watch LSU football games.
