No food stamps, no welfare, no affordable housing, no forced mixed schooling. Would we be better off? or worse off?

Way worse. The entire misled class is propped up by like less than 100 people.

What a stupid question

Anybody researched any data lately to determine if we’ve been effective in cutting social programs the last 20 months.

Those things take time for changes to go into effect and to measure. I know there has been changes to Medicaid that are coming.

They installed some type of work requirement last year for some services.

I for one, need to research our progress or lack there of in that area of government

The folks pushing for this would be shocked at how much of their lives fell apart.

In a country with pretty much free access to guns and ammo....it probably wouldn't last long.

If the ‘red states’ stopped receiving Federal Aid life would get much tougher for them.

Less money for doctors, hospitals, businesses, restaurants, etc etc.

Louisiana, for example, receives about $40 billion MORE from the Federal Government than it pays. Thats $8,742 paid ? $17,526 received ? $8,784 net benefit per Louisiana resident.

It would be a way bigger shite show in Louisiana than it already is.

my BIL, from Chicago area and grew up in Crystal Lake, said it was completely different up there. In BR you can be in a neighborhood with million dollar homes and then cross the street and it is the hood.

People who raise this kind of question assume they would be in the upper tier and reap the benefits thereof. Spoiler alert: they most likely wouldn't be and life would kinda suck for them under this social framework.
