Everyone wears masks? People sit in every other seat? What do you think will happen?

You’ll feel like PeeWee kicking back alone in the theater.

I predict the new normal will be shitty remakes, woke casting, comedies won't be funny any more, and patrons will be on their phones the whole time.

Wearing masks won’t work. The movie theater survivors on sale of concession items, not the actual tickets sold for the most part

Most of them will probably fold.

Most of the movies I have been to recently, the theaters have been less than 20% full. Don't see the problem.

The elderly and morbidly obese think twice about going.

Who still goes to movie theaters? They were going to die out anyway but this will certainly accelerate it.

I’m actually a fan of going to movie tavern in the middle of the day by myself.

Very few people will be in the theater with you.

You can chill, drink beer, and no one is really around you to bother you

With the recent trend to larger, reclining seats, it seems like the seats are already spaced a bit more than in sports arenas, so maybe just keep one seat empty between groupings sold together?

Going to a movie by ones self on a Saturday or Sunday afternoon is a real treat

Bring your own pillow and blanket. Disposable cocktail glasses maybe. The reclining pods already seem to allow separation between paired seats.

Watching the movie in your home theater and not having to be around the poors.
