El Siboney is an even better Cuban restaurant in Old Town.

It’s been closed for awhile. Another restaurant is in that building now.

If we are going to definitively say he's not top 3, can we please start listing your 3 current best coaches?

Fair.

And again before I start, I would not trade Nate for anybody. Nate Oats is the perfect coach for us and nobody we could realistically get in any world would be better than him. But…

Hurley
Sampson
May

Mark Few

I feel like those would be almost unanimous top 3 (and 4) amongst most people. Rest of the top 10 would be up for debate but there’s no world where Oats isn’t top 10.

Nine One Five for dinner. Mornings at the Green Parrot.

He’s not top 3 but definitely top 10. There’s no other coach on the country that we could reasonably get that I would trade for him though.

You’re better than this. More history and less boomer Facebook memes por favor.

Stayed at the DoubleTree (I think it was?) near Centennial Park for a Saints/Falcons game. Was right across the park from the stadium and an easy walk. Perfectly safe, especially with all the people around for the game. We spent the night before the game in another part of town and just took an Uber straight back to the hotel.

I don’t know anything about this GM but I have a hard time thinking that was solely his call. Their head coach is a supposed QB guru and I’m sure McCarthy was his guy. Ownership has to agree with a move like that too. Somebody had to take the fall though I guess.
The Demon Unrest is another great book of his.
Great book, and I agree that the last sentence will stick with you.

Check out Larson’s “Devil in the White City.” Just finished it and found it even better.

Atchafalayla if uptown. No bottomless mimosas though.

This was the worst kept secret ever, anybody who needed to know (and plenty that didn’t) knew he was gone. Don’t act like this isn’t standard operating procedure for college programs the past decade or so at least. I wish KDB had that SEC killer in him but I don’t think so.

Alabama is 4-1 against those teams in 2024 and 2025.

That’s an incredibly young group. I’m sure the staff will be rotating and messing around with groups all season again and that will be fun and not frustrating at all.

You aren’t going to find a lot of “online” pundits or people looking for CFB street cred picking against the hipster team of the century in Indiana.

As for the rain, if it does mostly taper off to where it’s not raining much during the game but the field/ball is just wet that can actually help the WRs. They know where and when they are going but defenders have to react and that makes them more vulnerable to slipping than the offensive players. Both defenses play such heavy zone though that even that probably won’t matter too much. Now if it turns out that it’s pouring during the game then it just becomes a slop fest played in a phone booth and fluky fumbles could turn the game.

Quite possibly the worst take of all time.
