3.75 in biological sciences. Only overrated because I didn't go to med school. Definitely didn't need that GPA to do what I do now.

If I would've just done my homework for all my engineering classes my GPA would've been about a point higher

So many kids get out of school and realize its hard to get a good job and hold it, and work is hard, so they go back to school to try to get better credentials to get that magic easy high paying job, then they end up in the same position behind the 8ball bc they wasted more years in school, and with much more debt.

To be fair, sometimes they go back to school (like myself) because they want to change careers or realize the 1st degree is not a good usage of their skill set.

I studied beer, jager, goldschlager, rumplemintz, and chasing tail for my first two years but I got it up to 3.39 before I left with a BS in CS.

2.2 after getting all As and Bs for the last 1.5 years. It's overrated because I'm horrible at making good grades, but a great worker and fully understand concepts.

Once you have your career started, nobody cares about it. No idea why people use that as a barrier for employment.

I have a 2.1 now

And do you think its overrated?

Nope. It got me into Officer Training School, and it also helped get me into grad school.

4.0 with an M.S. in Logistics and Supply Chain Management

This, along with my thesis, helped me get into a Logistics PhD program and I'm set to graduate this coming Summer.

3.4 CHEE should have been higher if I tried harder early. Actual CHEE classes was about 3.75.
