I worked at a local lumber yard loading the trucks with a forklift for the next days deliveries at 16.

I loved it. I was often the only one there because the yard closed at 5 and I wouldn't get there till 5 due to school or practice.

I'd put music on the speakers and have a great time.

local grocery store right across from my high school. i was the bagger and buggy chaser. they paid me cash money and i remember feeling like i was ballin with that first $300 check. worked 3:30-7 every day and weekends. started my sophomore year until graduating. i didn't even have a checking account, just kept it all under my mattress.

Mine was at a produce market. A few weeks after I started there I went to work on night shift cleaning floors at a grocery store.

Maintenance Dept of the local hospital. Started off cutting grass, running the weed eater, emptying outside trash cans, etc. Graduated to changing light bulbs and other odd jobs. Ended up working with the older guys on a variety of projects from plumbing, electricity, boiler blowdown, etc. It was a great job because I learned how to do so many things that helped my later in life.
