One year, I got a bunch of my grandfather's WWII stuff, a cored out .50 caliber round, and an emptied out grenade. For a kid really into military memorabilia, it was awesome.

Christmas ‘86 me(12) and my brother(10) got front row tickets to. Mid-south wresting show at the Monroe Civic Center. They were 10 bucks which was expensive at the time.

Mom just dropped us off and picked us up when it was over.

NFL Blitz

I was in college when this game came out. We used to have tournaments and would make stupid trophies with whatever we could find.. Like a bag of sugar, an old lamp shade, etc.. We would only do that when we had 8 people to play a tournament with. We would all put $5 in a pot, winning takes all.

We had to always keep an extra controller on hand because it was common for someone to break one. One dude used to get so pissed because you could recover an onside kick... what seemed like 50% of the time and he refused to do it and would get pissed if other people did it. A fight broke out between him and someone else over it. That was good times.

Single shot 12 gauge when I was 11. You can legally hunt with your parent when you hit 12, so this was a big milestone for me as a kid. I still have the picture when my Dad gave it to me and my face was pure shock and disbelief.

woke up to a door fully painted with chalkboard paint. it was a door i may or may not have punched a hole in after a fit of anger. it was replaced and just hanging out in the back shed.

where the hole was was a new nice dart board and some professional darts. i dont know how my wife hid it from me. we play darts and had good time all morning.

Automatic 22 rifle w scope around 10 years old. I would love to know how many rounds I fired that gun. Still have it almost 50 years later, would never part with it.

Around the time Tiger Woods exploded on the golf scene. My dad cut his clubs down and gave them to me. It was probably his favorite Christmas too since he got a new set of clubs out of the deal.

Christmas of '77: my Huffy Thunder Road bike. Wanted one dearly. All my friends on the block had bikes but me, and I wanted to zoom around on the streets with them. That was the best Christmas of my young life. My dad spent his bonus on Christmas, and when the kids woke up, the living room had been turned into a toy display worthy of a department store. I mean just wall to wall toys laid out for us. Don't think I'd ever been that happy as a child before or after.

My favorite Christmas present was a saga game gear with a battery pack.
