Make fun all you want. Chihuahuas.

They are assholes and really only like a handful of people.

Mutts too. Back to chihuahuas. We have a chi-weenie now. A rescue. That’s the coolest damned dog ever. He likes everybody. Barks only at other dogs and when he is supposed to. Let a person in? He is done barking. He also will sit in your lap without asking. His attitude, you don’t want me in your lap, you are the problem.

Great dog. I've got a 1 yr old, he's one of the smartest dogs I've ever owned. He wants to work though so I have to keep him busy and create new challenges for him in the woods/water.

Siberian husky. Great family dogs, sweet and loyal. Don’t bark and don’t make any sort of guard dog though

I've had 5 Goldens, it's the only breed I'll ever own. I know that sounds "racist" but I just love them, and understand them like no other breed.

Question for all the Golden and lab people: does having dander-laden hair all over your house, car and clothes 24/7 not adversely effect your career and social life?

Those are so cool but I hate how closely they dock the tails when following standard. Should have a sizable nub like most large terriers do imo

Lab/German Shepherd mutt. Best dog I've ever had or been around.

A few points:
1. There are these things called "lint rollers"
2. There are these things called "vacuum cleaners"
3. There are these things called "HEPA filters"
4. My Goldens are 100 times better company than anyone who looks down on me having a few dog hairs on my clothing.

The shedding really is the only negative to the breed. But it is FAR outweighed (for me) by how smart, loving, obedient, and awesome they are.

But I like most dogs, no matter the breed, more than most people. So there's that.

I'd like to have a bloodhound or a bassett hound, but something tells me that the next dog(s) is/are gonna be "pound hounds" that we get from the shelter just like our last two. Pound hounds and found hounds always turn out to be good bois or girls.

No, because I'm not a disgusting piece of trash and don't let hair pile up everywhere.
