I have a French Mastiff now. Very protector my wife. But my favorite has to be the BullMastiff. I owned all kinds of different breeds. Mastiff just seem to be my type of dog.

I love GSPs, but Brittanys have more attitude.

I've always been partial to flat-faced dogs...

I love ALL dogs

But we’ve always had beagles

They are dumb and stubborn (sometimes), but they really love you and are great with kids, old people, and everyone else.

I'm an unabashed Pug man. We have a beagle too. Love the fire out of him also.

We have a beagle and it is the coolest dog I’ve ever been around. I’ve never been a big pet person but she has changed me at least temporarily.

I’m a boxer man, but I also love Dobermans. Never owned a Doberman, but on my 5th boxer now. Love how goofy and sweet they are.

I like beagles for the same reasons.

My grandpa had a pack of beagles. Like 8-9 and they were always pinned up. They never socialized with anyone and my grandpa used to feed them and hunt with them. That's it. I could never go back there to see the dogs when I was a kid.

My grandma said if something ever happened to my grandpa, the first thing she's doing is "getting rid of those damn beagles". Well, when he passed, that's exactly what she did. I got one, my cousins each got one, etc. She was the best dog I ever had.

Now, when people discuss fatal dog bites, the number one excuse for a Pit Bull is that they are "not socialized, caged up, and abused". Well, these beagles were in the same situation and not one ever harmed anyone.

I've had labs and they're great, but I have a beagle now. She was a pain as a puppy (mostly with digging), but she's 2 years old now and has become the perfect dog. Beagles are smart and overly friendly and outgoing. They are smart kind of like a racoon is smart... they are mischievous and can get themselves into trouble. Overall, the perfect family dog.
