I hadn't really thought about 80's female tennis players in a while and just looked up some I thought were good looking back then. 80's fashion was pretty bad, and apparently I had unfortunate taste in women.

It would be so cool if professional female tennis players were attractive but they are overwhelmingly unattractive with a few exceptions and those exceptions are generally not real good players.
If someone had the balls to create a professional tennis league that evaluated by physical attractiveness as well as player ability, it would be a huge success. Kind of a hooters of tennis.

This was always so shamefully fake...it's a wonder Rome had a career after that. If a guy that much bigger than you genuinely, without your foreknowledge, flips a table over between you and he and is coming after you for real...you flinch. Rome just sits there, because he knows it's staged.

ETA: what a strangely wide variety of attractiveness in the pics that are out there. A lot of hot and a lot of not, regardless she appears to have aged very well.
