Thoughts on a GMC 1/2 Ton Diesel needed

Whats the OB’s thoughts on these? Have read that they pull a decent amount and get good mpg, but nothing really negative that I can find. Anyone have any personal experience with these engines?

I was out of water bottles last weekend so I cut up one of those thick pool noodles in about 12” pieces and used them the same way. Worked just as good.

Considering selling it and I love that truck, but I just have a feeling it will continue to get worse the longer I delay. For the amount of time I actually use the truck, I just dont see the value in keeping it and letting it decline further in value.

Thats about what this is, maybe like teaspoon each spot I park. Its coming from above the lower oil pan, but the lower oil pan is covered in oil too. Like its been going on for a while which makes me confused because Ive never seen oil leaks before

F250 Oil Leak

Posted by sonoma8 on 4/9/25 at 4:23 pm
I have a 2016 F250 that started leaking oil yesterday, maybe a teaspoon full. I believe I have tracked it down to the upper oil pan gasket. I was quoted today to repair all gaskets and seals would be in the $8k range.

So heres my dilemma, I drive a camry as a daily driver and only use my truck to tow my boat (22’ Bay boat) and pull my SXS. So the truck is mainly parked until needed. Maybe used 4k miles per year. So do I sell the truck and take a hit due to the leak or keep running her and just refill oil when needed.

I have a Sequoia that will pull both when needed, but its the wife’s daily. Considering selling for what I can get and saving for another truck next year.

Thoughts?
Smiths, but I do miss the yellow lens from my Costas
I just came for the comments, especially after the last 2 beached whale pics

Snagged some more VOO and averaging down on NBIS
Ive considered walking away several times but everytime I sell a stock for loss , it blows up. I dont know what to do. This makes me feel like Voyager 2.0
I forgot to set a stop loss and currently down 30%. Debating on taking the hit….this thing hasnt moved in a while.

Empty water bottles on bottom of ice chest, sack on top of that, ice on sack, pull the plug. Water bottles keeps the crawfish out of the water
