This. Grew up saying ice chest. But then had friends that said cooler. Wife says cooler, so I say both.

I was at a deer camp with one of those guys last year. Wanted to choke him. Wore a yeti cap the whole time. I asked him if they sent it with the cooler. He said, nah, I bought it. $30 for a cap to advertise for someone. frick me.

I actually use both. I also sometimes refer to the refrigerator as the cooler and the freezer as just freezer, never use ice box.

Spent a year in Texas in the mid 90s, After a few weeks of people talking about the cooler I finally asked what the hell a cooler was
