Could be, I have tried Indica, Sativa, and hybrid. If there is a certain strain within those that would ease anxiety, I would love to know

I haven't seen any specific strain edibles yet.

Same. It's why I smoke it before bed.

I smoke sativa or sativa dominant hybrids during the day.

Try a strain with a higher CBD to THC ratio. Pennywise is the only one I can think of offhand but several strains are at or close to a 1:1 THC/CBD ratio. Many strains out there have negligible amounts of CBD and that might be a factor in your unpleasant reactions.

I've taken CBD one time and noticed a huge difference in my mood and thoughts. It was basically like I didnt think about a single thing besides the show I was watching. didnt have an urge to look at my phone, and felt sort of a head high. I thought CBD was bogus until that day. I havent taken it since though

I've had a couple of sativas that were like drinking 10 cups of coffee. Just bouncing off the walls.

Alcohol made it worse. I cut back and improved immediately.

Compartmentalize. I've become very good at checking off what's in front of me and not letting the noise get under my skin.

Exercise for night time relaxation. For anxiety in the morning, I find caffeine helps alot. When Im wired I'm not nervous about anything.

Weed, occasional therapy, playing instruments, lifting daily, running daily, talking about it, reading, and basically forcing myself into situations that make me combat it. Once you live in it long enough it slowly dissipates because living in it and facing it becomes the norm. David Goggins mindset and method towards it.
