Drink... But it has been doing right the opposite for me lately. Prolly gonna quite or switch to light beers only. I've had all I need of high gravity. Time to float on.

Plus knowing that I’m in better shape than 85% of Americans gives a nice confidence boost, and makes it hard to worry about things
Not being a dik, sincerely, and I’m glad that works for you for now but what happens when you’re not in better shape than 85% of Americans(injury, age, etc)?

Acceptance and Commitment Theory (ACT) is a new age way of accepting anxiety and not trying to push it away. Accept it, acknowledge it, and without the positive feedback cycle, it will usually subside quickly.

I often times have to present to people who are highly educated and certainly smarter than me. It can freak me out. I take beta blockers.

Maybe you just haven't found the right strain. I've experienced varying results.

Fishing. While doing that I talk with myself, or maybe pray. It always calms me.

Is it weird that I don't get anxiety at what seems like the frequency people are saying in this thread?
No, I really don't either. I did a couple of years ago when my mom was going through some serious health problems and a lot of her care and decision making fell on me, so I can appreciate what people that deal with it regularly go through. That was the worst year of my life, and a lot of the reason for that was the stress and anxiety I was dealing with.
I get some situational anxiety once or twice a month, but far from the level it was during that time frame. The most common anxiety I get these days is the Sunday afternoon scaries when I start thinking about my upcoming work week. Alcohol just intensifies that, so I've started cutting back on my Sunday drinking.

Hugging my kids works.
May sound dumb, but I can almost feel the angst melting off of me when I'm holding them.
Usually when I feel better their mom comes around the corner and it's all back

Drink a 12 pack a night and yell at my wife and kids. Kick the shite out my dog if I'm feeling really stressed.

Weed at night before I go to bed if it is really bad. Helps me sleep like a baby and forget about my stress for a few hours.

I'm not going to be much help on this. I'm not a millennial and don't have anxiety issues.
Hell, I'm not big on labeling things. It's life, just carry on.
