Isn’t it kind of sad that the brightest and youngest of LA don’t see a future in LA?

Houston not only gets a lot of our college educated white collar graduates, but also a lot of blue collar types from Louisiana that work in refineries, chemical plants, oil & gas, and midstream. Know plenty of NDT guys, pipefitters, operators, welders, etc that make mpre money in Houston.

Yeah way too many OU people in Collin County. It’s 2:15-2:30 hours to Norman

They used to give in state tuition for Texas kids. They are annoying as hell and all drive crimson cars

Has been Louisiana West for the last 30 years already. Multiple people I know from LA now have 2 or 3 generations in TX now

A state that is near the bottom in both economics and education and near the top in violent crime and STDs with little industry outside of oil and gas? Yeah, can’t see why young people would stick around for that

Blame decades of poor and corrupt leadership

This is the OT. Nobody works anywhere but Houston or Dallas.

There are lots of LSU grads around Atlanta, but I can’t figure out where people are watching the games.

Current Governor is going to fix all of that. We’ll need to re-elect him so it can happen, then elect him to the U.S. Senate, but I promise you he’s fixing all of it.

In DFW I’d guess that OU would have the edge as the first out of state team.
