All the above. Also add in social media filters that make them look more attractive so they get a lot more make attention. When the guy shows up, most are too horny to get up and leave.

go on a dating app in any big city and you will see hundreds of ugly, fat 18-25 year olds who get their nails done, do their hair like black girls, always wear makeup, etc. and they think they're hot as frick

My father was not afraid to tell mother if she was eating too much. She never got fat and still eats like a bird.
Our legal system now says if a guy says this to a wife, the wife can leave, take half his stuff, dramatically reduce his access to spend time with his children, social media will shame him, and the woman knows if single mom life (which is glorified) gets too hard, the government and/or another man (or woman) will bail her out.

Mostly social media simps but also parenting. One of my wife's coworkers is an overweight single mom and gets 4 or 5 comments from guys saying "beautiful" or "sexy" everytime she posts a selfie. Parents often treat their daughters like children well into their 20's. Nothing is ever their fault even though they have just as many opportunities.
