Pulling into the car-poarch, getting out and your best friend of 7 years comes running up and does the roll around on his back thing to let you know how happy he is to see you.

When your wife is doing laundry and you realize she’s stuck in the dryer.

A night full of laughs with some good buddies watching some ufc fights or a good baseball game or playing a game of poker

Early morning lift. Or fresh cup of coffee in the morning.

Basically anything in the morning before the rest of society has awaken. So peaceful.

Holding all of my grandchildren close on my front steps for a picture was nirvana.

When you pick the perfect size socket on the first try.

Hitting the snooze button then rolling over and snuggling with your wife.

I actually hate this because I never get back to the same deep sleep I was getting. I’d rather it be like 30-45 min before. The shitting at home, absolutely.

I love the bookend moments....before everyone wakes up and after everyone else has gone to bed. 2 of my every huge moments are:

I wake up early to walk the neighborhood before work...I love the feeling of passing and looking at my house from the street...knowing the wife and kid are still fast alseep...

Just as enjoyable moments like right now. I'm up having a whiskey and cigar on my patio looking in on a peaceful sleeping house. I'm generally good with words, but I truley can't use them to describe why I love that feeling so much, but dammit I do

That’s exactly what I was coming to say. Of course the complete inverse is that moment you know to mathematical precision that you cannot hit snooze again and must awaken.

This for sure. Working all day out in the hot summer sun and stop at the first convenience store on the way home and dig a couple cold ones out the ice filled tub near the register.

Slipping in the house just quietly enough the kids don’t hear me. For them to see me, and exclaim, DaDa!

Makes my day.

Riding a bike...outside

A manual transmission

Still being able to accomplish an athletic skill from when you were younger
