When I was around 13 or 14 in 93/94, we would buy a half pack of Newport's at circle k for 99 cents.

Also, sub $4 pack of smokes.
My 1st pack was 35 cents. Then started getting them from the machine inside the fire station parking bay for 45 cents since it was easier. Yeah that's right. IN the fire station, fire fighters back then smoked.

HS the price went from 55 cents a pack to 75, gas was also 65 cents/gallon. The BurgerKing/McD's commercials were about feeding a date and yourself for under $5 including milkshakes (machines actually worked back then too).

A flat of keystone light was $6.99. There was a midget who rode a 3 wheeled bike around town and he would buy us a flat if we gave him $10 and let him keep the change.

Copenhagen was $1.99 a can. I remember thinking how egregious it was when the price went up and you had to pull out a 3rd dollar bill to buy a can.

Pizza inflation hasn't been so bad. I remember I could get a large pepperoni takeout for $5 at Dominos. You still see specials advertised around there.

My first semester in college my tuition was like $900 though.

Gas being .99 .50 coke from a machine.
I remember my brother buying a brand new Monte Carlo for $6,000 in 1978.
