re: This picture sums up the predicament the committee is in. - LsuFan_1955
If you are not the best team in your conference you are not the best team in the nation. Very simple. Playoffs are next year, this system is not a playoff.
The playoffs next year still won't be true playoffs. The 12 teams will still be chosen by the corrupt committee. ...
All my life, I have loved College Football. All my life, I have hated the way College Football "chooses" a champion. The very word disgusts me. A beauty pagent. An exclusive invitational. The "Eye test". Best vs Deserves. Cupcakes. Let this historically corrupt abomination die.
...

Go ask this on the Outdoor board, or the Home/Garden board, they'll more likely give you a straight answer with less ribbing....

re: 2004 Chevy SSR dash electronics inter. Problems - LsuFan_1955
I had a friend with a GMC Envoy that developed this problem. Turned out to be a bad ground, and he had just installed a new battery. Follow the negative wire from the battery, and locate the ground block. Clean all to ground connections you can find on the engine, and those going to the frame. Y...

re: Boiling Basket Replacement - LsuFan_1955
My calculations come up with your pot being just over 52 qts. Good for boiling shrimp, but a little small for a crawfish boil, at least for me. I think I'd re-purpose the old pot into a large gumbo, soup, or chili pot, and go buy a new 100 qt boiling rig. ...

re: Fat Tire E-Bike - LsuFan_1955
Here is what I started with. It was a Walmart special that I caught on sale for less than 200 bucks. You can probably find a similar deal on a Fat Tire/Beach bike with Christmas approaching. This is what it looks like today. I have done a lot more ...

re: Fat Tire E-Bike - LsuFan_1955
I can tell you that the more expensive ones only advantage is usually they are waterproof/water resistant, and that deals with the connections. As for actual reliability, well my bike is over 6 years old and I haven't had an issue yet with the electrical components, or the battery. My kit is from ...

re: Fat Tire E-Bike - LsuFan_1955
You could always buy a cheap fat tire bike from a big box store, then purchase an e-bike kit and install it your self. The cost would be under $1000, unless you go with a large motor over 500 watts, and a battery over 48 volts, and over 15 Amp hours. I did this with my daily rider. It was a hybri...

re: In what universe does one have the video game stats that JD has and not win the Heisman? - LsuFan_1955
In what universe does someone have the video game stats that JD has and not win the Heisman? It’s like the media hates the SEC so bad that they are holding up Bo Nix like he is the greatest QB ever. He literally lost their only top 10 matchup vs a team that has the 94th overall defense in col...

Lowe's and Home Depot have them. Normally they are in the tool section. DeWalt makes a really nice unit. I haven't looked but I bet you could find them in Walmart too....

re: Meat injectors - LsuFan_1955
I got tired of the cheap plastic injectors that come with the various jarred marinades. The needles always clogged and or bent, plus the syringe it's self just didn't hold that much liquid. I found this one on Amazon and have been using it for a while now, and I am very satisfied with it. [link...
