If you're paying more than $250-300 for a quality zip right now, you need to find a new hookup (or you're selling fake bake Delta-8 on the internet)

First of all the question was what are prices you remember from high school which for me was 16 years ago. I grow better weed in my basement then you will ever have access to yourself, and I even have it lab tested.

Second of all watch your tone. Fake bake delta 8?!

Historian Smoker : You know, back in the '60s we used to smoke this shite on the street. Cops didn't say nothin', hell, they was gettin' high, too. Everybody was good. It wasn't a thing to do because it was a thing to do, you know? It was a thing to do because it got you high. Can you dig it?

Thurgood Jenkins : Oh, I feel you, that's why I'm doin' it. I feel you. Man, you're cool as shite, mister. I hate to do it, but I gotta charge you. That's 60 bucks.

Historian Smoker : 60 bucks? Man, I remember when a dimebag cost a dime, you know what I mean? [pause]

Historian Smoker : You know how much condoms used to cost back in them days?

Thurgood Jenkins : How much?

Historian Smoker : I don't know, we never used 'em. [both start laughing]

McDonalds hamburger was 35 cents. You could go to the movies and get popcorn and drink for $5. But clothes and shoes cost as much or more than today. Thanks, China.

$75 for decent weed, redbud maybe 150

My two favorites were Sensimilla and Ty-Stick. When ever I could these are what I would get. Price was a bit more than the average ounce but damm it was worth it for the taste and the buzz

When I was young (early-to-mid 80's), I remember going to an LSU football game and seeing the ".19¢ Hamburger Stand" down Highland Road. I asked my dad if we could stop there -- I just wanted to see what one of their burgers tasted like. It was actually a decent burger - it basically tasted just like a McDonald's hamburger that cost something like 59¢ at the time.

Class ring cost my mom and dad $30.30. Still have it in wife's jewelry box. Still fits after 52 years.

When I first started driving at 15, I would try to convince my parents to let me drive anywhere I could. One of the ways I got to drive was to go to the local Canal Villere and buy my parents cigarettes from the vending machine. As I recall, it was $1.25/pack - no questions asked. The machine was right inside the door and anyone of any age could buy right out of the vending machine.

IDing for cigarettes is a newer thing. I started smoking young - probably around 14 or so back in the mid 80's and I always bought my cigarettes at the gas station/convenience store. I do not have a single recollection of ever being carded or refused a pack of cigarettes when I was a minor.
