if anyone has ever watched MasterChef on FOX. I hate the way Gordon Ramsey pronounces taco.
tack-co
then Aaron Sanchez, another judge, pronounces it in a very heavy Mexican accent. So you end up with the 3 judges all pronouncing a 4 letter word completely differently

My dear old grandmother when speaking about varicose veins called them "very coarse" or "very course" veins. Of course she was born in 1880 so I gave her a pass.........or she would have whipped my arse. Firm believer in sparing the rod spoiled the child. But we loved her more than anything. She's fight a bear for us, or whip your arse if you did anything to harm one of hers.

the old Archie Bunker one, turlet for toilet.
Worked with a guy years ago who would say scromatograph for chromatograph. Older fella who passed away in the 90s. Funny thing is one of the other guys there kind of picked that up from him and would say it too.

This lady I work with pronounces every word beginning with Au as Ow-. For example: "Ow-gust" instead of August; Ow-dio" instead of Audio. Drives me nuts.
