Durability and the way it distributes the heat. Cooks super evenly even on large batches. And has a lifetime warranty.

This is 100% false. I ate a lot of A5 in my life and I don’t think it’s worth the money. It’s just fatty buttery barely meat that people glorify because it’s expensive. I’ll take prime.

Most premium brand-name products are better than the (significantly) cheaper alternatives. That doesn't mean they are the best value for any one person though.

One of the places I spend money is on A/V equipment. I find value in a pair of KEF Blade One Meta speakers while someone else might be fully satisfied with some Sonos speakers. It is the same with tools, while I find value in Knipex and NWS pliers, someone else might be perfectly content with a similar pair from Harbor Freight or a no-name Amazon pair.

I do generally subscribe to the "buy once, cry once" theory. Rarely do I ever regret doing solid research and spending the money on what seems to be the best item for me. This is particularly true for things I use daily or weekly for years.

Poncho Shirts and Yeti Ice Chest

Both way overpriced but their no question asked warranty policies are incredible. I just sent back two beat to shite 10+ year old soft yetis because they had broken zippers and they sent me two brand new ones. I lost a bit of weight and went an XL to a L n in the poncho shirts and I returned 5 shirts that were probably a year or two old and they sent me the next size down.
