Maybe saying licenses is too limited, but things like cosmetology, various ATC certifications, health, child care, etc. We can debate the legitimacy of those licenses/certifications in another topic, but the state does have some leverage.

Say for example a church wants to hold service and said church also has a child care facility, the state could suspend their child care certification for violating state orders. I'm not saying it's right or wrong, but it's a possibility.

JBE’s best response to this is to advise those bodies to turn a blind eye to it all. Let them open. He can keep his EO and get his federal money and perhaps people won’t burn the Capitol down around him.

This example has incredible constitutional implications, though.

I can tell you JBE has completely lost the RINO support.

Too little too late....unless they partner with the conservatives in the legislature to shut down this stupid lockdown.

Other than that they can stay cozied up with JBE and be pushed out of public life forever.

If JBE has balls, he will send the state police there tomorrow with ATC agents and pull the liquor licenses of any restaurant that is open in violation of the state order.

Man, I would love to see that fight...

The Francis was allowing people to order food to-go and sit outside at their restaurant last weekend.

This is significant because the Parish president there, Kenny Havard, is a republican and he endorsed and campaigned for JBE last fall.

If the RINOs are already telling JBE to get lost.....
