And the state will exercise their right to take away state-issued licenses and then things will really get fun.

He shouldn’t have to work another day in his life with the kick backs the trial lawyers owe him.

This is significant because the Parish president there, Kenny Havard, is a republican and he endorsed and campaigned for JBE last fall.

A lot of the parish’s budget comes from sales tax revenues. He’s trying to close the wound.

If he really wants to push it, the legislature can just revoke the order all together

Just wait for Jefferson, St. Tammany, Accension, or Livingston and watch the dominos start fall.

JP announced they would open in 5/01 either the same day, or the day after JBE extended the order.

Don't underestimate his arrogance.

He's a political climber at heart and he may well take a shot at John Kennedy for Senate in 2022.

Would be no risk to him and all the potential reward with just one year left in the Governor's office where he's term limited.

The day JBE is finally forced to go back to Bumfrick Amite and chasing fender benders and 18 wheelers will be a good day for Louisiana.

I’m about to drive to Natchez if needed.

Yeah, but it's with the statewide restrictions. Nothing anyone else is doing.

I could support an early exit from the Governor Office for JBE if the LT. Governor's name is not Fat Pinky Billy Nungesser.

But that's the Lt.. Governor's name so that's a big fat negative from me.

JBE sucks but we don't need the biggest RINO in Louisiana on the 4th floor right now having a first term of his own.

Louisiana made its bed with a shitty Governor in JBE and they will have to ride him out all the way to the next regularly scheduled election in 2023.

Health Dept can shut them down
SOS can yank occupational license.

If the state came in and stepped over the parish and city officials to do all of that, holy shite I think blood actually may be shed

And they won't, but the bars and restaurants have started putting up tents and tables in their parking lots. Should be fun watching the facebook doomers bitching about it when places are opening up tomorrow. My favorite bar is having a crawfish boil tomorrow afternoon.
