White Lake draw info
Posted by ChandlerB03 on 10/2/24 at 9:37 pm
Got drawn for a January date for a rice field blind here. First time drawn here. Know nothing about the area or what to expect out of it.
Any info on it out there?
Seems like it’ll be fairly easy hunt. Unless the birds won’t be there.

That’s what I was really trying to get a feel for. Know a couple of people on Lake Mary. They are just camps. Wouldn’t want something that could flood to be a full time home.

Wife and I are about to be empty nesting. Been considering a move to a lake and noticed that there are a good many houses available up there.
Susceptible to flooding or something?

In my 3rd season with mine. No regrets here. Like anything, practice makes perfect

I assumed the post is legit. But with people always looking for a scam these days you never know if the photos were taken off the web somewhere.
Just thought it may be a lead for the guy is all. Again, not assuming this is the guys boat.

re: Tree Saddle
Posted by ChandlerB03 on 5/20/22 at 7:45 am to geauxbrown
Been in one for about 5 seasons now. I’ve tried a Good many of them. I’m a bigger guy, 6ft and 250lbs.
Pros:
Light weight
360 shooting
Minimum movement
More packable
More tree selection
Cons:
If you don’t practice and tweak with it, it can be uncomfortable after a couple of hrs

I appreciate the feedback from all. Seem to be solid built, just don’t see a lot of them around.
I’m not going to beat around in it every single weekend, but it will get the bulk of the work during hunting season.

Both of these models have a flat floor, which I like. One has a mid deck, with higher sides. The other is a straight up duck boat.
Both have rear pod seating with storage, gun/rod holders, storage up front also.

Any experience with Seaark boats

Been looking for a new rig for a few months. Local dealer has a couple of Sea-arks I’m considering.
Boat will be a 1860 with 60hp tiller. Will be used for hunting out of mostly. They have two series, the slayer (new duck boat) and a DXS.
Anyone have any experience with sea arks? Just looking for overall quality and advice for them.
Thanks OB

Came across this and have been looking for carry gun.
PSA Dagger 9mm
Anyone ever purchase their branded firearms? Reviews? How does this process work? I’m assuming they line up the closest FFL dealer?
TIA OB

I know I’m pretty set on gator tail or mud buddy. Had a long tail on a little 14ft job boat to beat around the barrow pits in and felt like I was fighting it more than getting its actual use.
I wouldn’t be opposed to purchasing a used a rig with outboard and jack plate to run during summer for fishing
