The code of conduct warns that violators will be asked to leave, and says the store may call law enforcement, if necessary. Starbucks said employees would receive training on enforcing the new policy.
Good luck with getting the blue hairs to do either.

A nice hot cup of Community first thing in the morning, at my home, is all I need.

If you want to hang out or use the restroom at Starbucks, you’re going to have to buy something.
I didn’t like this policy at first and thought it was stupid. I then embraced it as it became my official free spot to take a public dump without feeling bad about not buying something. Many times I’ve proudly walked in, taken a dump in their single-person clean bathroom with a door lock, and left without even a twinge of guilt for not making a purchase.

So Starbucks is either admitting it was never racist to not let druggies hang out in the restroom, or that it is still racist but they’re doing it anyway

I’ve been a handful of times, only because I was out with my wife and daughter and they badgered me into taking them. I don’t know what it is about Starbucks, but it’s like crack for white girls.

They sell some pretty good shite. Their app is nice. You can easily order a grab and go breakfast and a latte. Decent rewards system, too.
I like their 90 calorie cold foam cold brews on occasion too.
Waiting in one of their lines can be a pain in the arse, though, with hoards of large women ordering 900 calorie ice cream coffees.

Policy or no policy, I always buy something at a place I'm camped out working. Doesn't seem right otherwise.

I was in San Antonio for work and walked down to get a coffee waiting on my Uber to the airport. There were droves of homeless hanging out. I saw a guy grab a cup out of the outside trash and come in as I was waiting on my order. I went to the restroom and he asked for some change when I came out. I told him to get a job. He starts saying he was going to kill me. I told the cashier to call the cops. She knew him by name and said he was mentally ill. I caused a big commotion saying he threatened to kill me. Everyone in there acted like I was the bad guy. A lady pulls up in a white work van who was a ‘homeless advocate’ full badge and all and tells me I should be more compassionate and understanding. As this guy makes the throat slash gesture at me while she gives him a paper bag of fruit and a fresh pack of tube socks. I told them both to frick off and walked back to my hotel and had the Uber rerouted. Told my coworker at the valet stand and the valet said that the city had a big push to be more supportive of the homeless and it was killing their business.
Why on Earth would you do that?

This shite all started with the movie what flew over the cuckoos nest which dramatically showed the abuse which was going on in mental hospitals and institutions, and misuse of commitments as weapons. Wife fricks around put her in mental hospital and force her to get a labotemy.
Then like we always do we vastly overreacted to the problem and closed most of the mental hospitals and made it practically impossible to commit someone. Apparently, we just thought the crazy people would just magically disappear or something.
So now they just wander the streets and are a problem for the police state. It’s insane

I did just twice in all the years and locations in the N.O. area.
First time I got one I found it bitter for a Cafe au Lait with whole milk and just figured it may have been a fluke.
Several months later I tried it again and with the same results, so never again. To me, their coffee tastes like shite.
Oh, and all these pretentious names for their different size servings:
Demi
Short
Tall
Grande
Venti
Trenta

So what’s your solution to the problem? Arrest them all? They are fricking mentally insane. Round them up and execute them like the Nazis. (It’s practical and final )
If we don’t rebuild state mental institutions this is the shite u get

I see a lot of charges on my daughter's credit card for SB but what she gets can hardly be called coffee. It's mostly sugar and flavoring.

They didn't say anything about keeping dudes out of the women's restroom though.

I seriously despise Starbucks. I don't complain about things being overpriced much but their crap $8 crup of nasty coffee pisses me off.
