there are CLEARLY privileged in this world, but they've just tried to shite on ANYTHING that separates people
look, as a kid who grew up poor in a single-parent household, i experienced privilege for sure (especially once i went to rich kid Barbe). now just for clarification, i'm not comparing myself to those who have experienced other sorts of under privileged existences (especially racial ones), just saying i have personal experience with this. the only reasons things didn't turn out very bad for me were genetic and my mom understanding how to raise me. i mean shite, we almost lost my brother.
it's just seriously gross to me to have people try to spin the optimal behaviors i missed out on in a negative light simply b/c of jealousy. we should be promoting the more optimal behavior and certainly not trying to disparage it

I was raised as a proud Irish-American. My wife is a proud German-American.
I usually just roll my eyes at these sort of tweets and graphics, but this is a major museum putting its name on this. You’re offending a lot of Americans that are proud of their immigrant heritage.

I can say as someone who has spent decades researching and studying Nazi Germany and the Holocaust, the way this “Museum” talks about white people is the exact same style and language used by the Nazis in 1930s-40s Germany to talk about the Jews.
