I love Fleur de Lis, but this woman owner is a money grubbing delusional nut.

Seriously, I think she's a mentally ill person. There is something wrong with her. It takes a lot of cunning and guile to build a business like this that managed to stand the test of time.

But it only takes one bi-polar descendant who has something like this fall in their lap to completely tank it in record time.

When was this place good?

When I first came to Baton Rouge in the late 90s everyone said I needed to try Fleur de Lis and La Fonda's...wow.

People either loved their pizza or absolutely hated it. There was no in between. If you didn’t grow up eating it, you probably didn’t like it.
We would always get them half baked and take them home. There were many times I would leave there saying I’m never coming back because of their horrendous service, but I would always return.
I miss their pizza and hope someone can turn the place around.

If you made $10 for every pizza sold, you would only have to sell 124 pizzas each and every day for 10 years straight to make your $4.5 million back

Fleur de Lis was probably the most OVERRATED restaurant in BR. That asking price only further emphasizes that point.

Drank beer one night outside at Cypress coast and watched the crazy lady run off every driver who tried to park in the empty lot behind Fleur de Lis. Called tow trucks. Huge empty parking lot. Glad the place closed, that’s what happens when you treat customers like crap.

As far as I can tell, it's never actually been good. It's straight up childhood nostalgia. I grew up in Lafayette; FDL is Pete's with pizza instead of burgers.

We couldn't make the restaurant work selling our own time tested recipes and brand in our historic location, but pay us $4.5mill and you can give it a go.
