I'm guessing that's a Raptor R. Still overpriced, but that's not exactly something you can really compare to other trucks outside of a Ram TRX. That's an enthusiast truck.

no one should even touch a $100k vehicle unless you have at least a million net worth and can pay cash for it, not saying you NEED to pay cash for it, but you are CAPABLE of it

This seems insane to me. I make around $20,000/month and my truck note is $600 and my wife’s car is paid off, I can’t imagine bringing home $4,000ish/month and spending $2,000 of that on cars

I’m in sales and wife is a VP. I was in the 70k to 80k range a piece for our two main vehicles back in 2017 but with the price of vehicles and what we like to drive that crossed the 100k mark in 2021 for my wife’s car. Both of mine combined are a more than hers but not by much.

Just started looking for a replacement vehicle for the wife’s car which crapped out, 2014 VW.
I was quite surprised, there isn’t a single new car or small suv made by anyone that can be had for under $20k. Told her I’d help her buy a golf cart.

That is about right. The 296 GTB has a MSRP around $335k so normally optioned it would be close to $400k. However, you arguably get what you pay for because comparing a to a 308 to a 296 is like comparing Apollo 11 to the Starship Enterprise.

FTR, a modern Ford EcoBoost PU would smoke the Ferrari in the quarter, and probably give it fits on a closed course track too, all while getting better MPG and being vastly safer and more reliable.

I remember when 13 seconds was fast as frick for a daily
Now it’s just fast.

Benz dealer had a G wagon on the lot with 5,000 miles on it and wanted $265k. I asked how is it $265k when the sticker says it was $235k new?
Answer was well thats the markup, if this was new and we have 2 that are new, they now go for $300k.
