He's in Ocala. I have a gut feeling.

Expert said he thinks the body was really decomposed.
You would think it was out there three full weeks if she died on the 28th or 29th).
Looking at NOAA data for Moran (closest weather station I can find to the campsite), highs in that 3 week period ranged from 83 on 9/10 to 65 on 9/3, with the other days being in the mid 60s through the high 70s with one or two more low 80s mixed in. Lows ran from the upper 20s to low 40s. There wasn't a ton of rain, and that area has really low humidity which can help in preserving a body.
I would think more than anything the animal predeation on the body would be the worst part of it.

Police officers just don't grow on trees these days, especially in the "Defund the Police" era...and she wasn't known to be dead until just two days ago (I realize it isn't official yet)...so not sure if it made sense to dedicate manpower to surveil him if there was no official crime committed.

How is Brian Laundrie not in custody of the FBI at this time?
Have they positively ID'd Petito's body, anf cause of death? If not, they can't charge him for murdering some stranger in a creek bed in Wyoming that might have died from an animal attack.

Agreed. Not to be morbid, but wouldn't it be feasible to immediately identify those tattoos?

Here’s to hoping that they catch him and serve him justice.
He seemed to like uncrowded bars, with southerners in them, that he could make fun of. I reckon he is headed to The Cottage Inn.

They said the description matched her, I assume that includes any body modifications.

Baker FL is a helluva long way away. It's near Pensacola, about 500 miles away
What day is the trail cam pic from?
Given the fact that BLs parents reported him missing 7 days ago a train-hopping Brian could easily be in the Pensacola area or further.
FBI have that footage of him in Tillman right?

No way he’s traveling by vehicle
Brian Laundrie is traveling West by Rail..it’s the only means he has.
I was about to reply, then I saw who posted this.
Seriously, if he hopped a freight train, all the routes from that area would take him close to Jacksonville before he could hop another train to the panhandle. Even more miles.

This is the best I could find:
“ Laundrie returns to the couple's North Port home, where his parents also live, on September 1, according to police.
According to an affidavit attached to a search warrant request, a license plate reader shows the vehicle exited Interstate 75 into North Port at 10:26 a.m. ET.”
Chicken proved a point by asking a simple question and getting someone to answer it. Imagine that.
ETA: Lee was claiming a traffic cam got a picture of Brian driving the van in Florida. He claimed it multiple times. Chicken asked for a link to the picture. Lee went off looking for it, but never found it. What he did find was what we already knew, being that they got a hit for the van on a license plate reader.

Have an upvote,sir.
Not just sucking up to Chicken. Hoping maybe all the publicity on this incident could help people figure out actions and attitudes have consequences.

Well in the link I posted on the previous page a North Port PO referred to the search for Brian as a criminal case. Make of it what you will.
quote:
"This is an FBI-led criminal investigation and North Port Police are assisting our federal partner in any way we can to bring this investigation to a close," they added.

There are a ton of criminal acts that don't include the death of someone.

After all investigative parties get a glance at this case, two outdoor weirdos living in a van traveling across the country, missing girl, domestic disturbance, and they don't get brian in custody immediately and start gaining any evidence and answers possible seems about as incompetent as it gets.

Are they thinking BL’s still alive and trying to keep him in the dark? Definitely seems like they are trying to bait something.
Really really far behind, but chances are that this is indeed the case.
It's why they're not naming him an official suspect and just a person of interest at this time. They want to smoke him out because they still believe him to be alive, and naming him the suspect gives him even more reason to stay hidden/on the run.
Just wanted to clarify that the "person of interest" status attached to him right now doesn't mean they don't have evidence that shows he did it, they may know for sure he did and are just keeping it tight lipped.
Don't read into the POI status as anything other than the FBI trying everything to get him to come forward. They do this pretty regularly. Our latest updates (US Marshals) from the FBI and State are still worded as if they believe he's alive, FTR

but it's september 21st, and this fricking dude who was the KNOWN last person to be with Gabby isn't in any type of custody to date is incredibly incompetent imo.
