So this is the generation where we quit making kids drink out of the school water fountain & instead bring water bottles to school. So they’re conditioned to have something on them at all times to drink.

I don’t think bringing a drink is disqualifying. I wouldn’t do it, though.
Many places offer you some sort of drink, usually water, so you can accept if you’d like.

Like Gen Z's have jobs. Majority of them are unemployed social media influencers. They show up to college football tailgates and ask you stupid questions while videoing, or do get ready with me to do nothing all day videos, or just post half naked photos online to gain followers, or eat at fast food restaurants and video themselves eating.

It’s a sign of respect. You’re at an interview to impress someone, not have a bs session. From my experience even sales people meeting a client for the first time don’t stroll in with a drink.

You’re acting like they’re streaming Friends and can’t do without. Or checking their live bets.
Surely you don’t think it’s weird to leave the house with a coffee on your big interview day. It making its way into the interview is an issue?
Surely you’re smarter than to throw out good candidates simply bc they have a coffee with them. You caring about a coffee is a MUCH bigger red flag than an excited job applicant bringing a coffee to the interview.
