Union Parish woman falls out of truck window and dies

UNION PARISH, La. (KNOE) - A Union Parish man has been charged in connection with the death of a woman who fell from a truck over the weekend.
According to the Union Parish Sheriff's Office, 22-year-old Bridget Tucker, of Farmerville, was sitting the back window of a truck going about 35-40 miles per hour down Liberty Baptist Church Road when she fell from the truck.
Sheriff Dusty Gates says the woman appears to have lost her grip after climbing halfway out of the window while the truck was moving and fell out onto the pavement. Authorities say alcohol was also found hidden near the scene. Two other passengers were inside the vehicle at the time of the incident.
The truck belongs to 21-year-old Dustin Hines, of Marion. He is charged with vehicular homicide and obstruction of justice.
