Yeah you might want to check your facts...

quote:

Stoicism originated as a Hellenistic philosophy, founded in Athens by Zeno of Citium (modern day Cyprus), c. 300 B.C.E. It was influenced by Socrates and the Cynics, and it engaged in vigorous debates with the Skeptics, the Academics, and the Epicureans. The name comes from the Stoa Poikile, or painted porch, an open market in Athens where the original Stoics used to meet and teach philosophy. Stoicism moved to Rome where it flourished during the period of the Empire, alternatively being persecuted by Emperors who disliked it (for example, Vespasian and Domitian) and openly embraced by Emperors who attempted to live by it (most prominently Marcus Aurelius).

Stoicism History

Jewish beliefs and writings far predate Stoicism, and Christianity originates from Judaism and beliefs from the Torah and Jewish prophets.

People at that level are probably on the spectrum. They are wired differently.

It's not that hard once you get used to it.

We really don't need to eat breakfast. It's all about self-discipline.

No eating on the weekends is weird, but OMAD is very popular.

I only eat twice a day M-Th. No snacks or anything, just two meals. I usually eat a big lunch and dinner is pretty light.

I only eat twice a day every day - weekends too.

I’ve never liked breakfast and I grew up in a house where my parents never bought what wasn’t on the grocery list. So I don’t snack at all.

Intermittent fasting is going mainstream, bro. I only eat between 4pm and 9pm during the week.

I'm convinced you've got to have some kind of personality disorder to be a successful CEO of a big company

I'm one of the most successful people in my world and I only eat once a day.

Some days I'll even miss the whole day.

I can eat any amount of any food I want any time I want now.

I wear the same "uniform"* to work every day too.

Streamlined my life.

*Orvis flat front khakis and Brooks Brothers no-iron long sleeve dress shirt. The shirts go on sale for 4 for $199 often.

Vary my shoes every other day, but I have two pairs of the same model & size shoes.

Buy the exact same Gold Toe brown socks by the six pack, throw them out when they show any issues.
