Hell yea, I love the look of the new TRd pro's. I've seen the tan 4Runner with the black wheels and it looks sick.

Toyota's re-sale value is the only thing I admired the Tundra for...I don't have enough experience with them to make a comment of any substance re: style changes.

I owned a Tundra before my current F-150 and I heard that "not American" shite all the time. No way to know if that was sarcasm or typical dumb-assedness.

The FX4 trim F150s look great, but the front end on the rest of them looks terrible.
I like the new 2016 Silverado. Happy with my Tundra though.

Re sale on nicer 4x4 full sized trucks is great for almost all brands
Toyota may have the best but it's not head and shoulders better than ford or gm
From past research, they used to also have the highest Msrp and lowest rebates of the brands as well.

I recently bought a 2016 Tundra. Love everything about it.
I debated on going with a Ford F-150, but it seemed like an even split between people who said they loved it and had no issues...and people who said they've had nothing but problems.
I previously owned a 2008 Toyota Tacoma (Pre-Runner) and had zero issues with it. Knowing it will be basic maintenance only for the life of my Tundra made it a no brainer.

I think the Denalis are the best looking trucks on the road, but I like the looks of my Tundra also. I like the interior too, it looks nice and is very comfortable. Gas mileage isn't great, I get a combined 15mpg. It's hardly like you need to tow a gas station behind you. If a handful of mpgs is enough to sway your decision on a $40,000 purchase, you're an idiot.
It pisses me off that we can't get something like a 6.2L, but the 380hp is enough.
I know that I will get thousands of trouble free miles out of it. In the end, that's all that really matters.

Well, they don't devalue their brand by saying MSRP is $50K, then selling it every day for $38K.
You can get about 5K off Tundras though, but they rarely advertise that.

I've never been super impressed with the Tundra. Good resale, sure...but as mentioned, sky high MSRP and few rebates as well. Not sure I could pay that much for a truck with a dated look, drivetrain, and cheap interior. Even Ram has surpassed Toyota in interiors.

I've sold a couple of current-gen (08-now) tundras with 220k+ miles on them that run like tops, start like they did when they were driven off the lot, are tighter than any Chevy I've ever driven with that many miles, and, to put it simply, feel like they're just broken in, instead of tired, like every American truck I've ever driven with that many miles does. THAT'S what you pay for.
