re: Driver tips

Nah, just normal aches and pains. Nothing hindering my swing yet.. I’m playing in the am. I’m gonna try to rotate more deeply and see if that helps . Maybe I’m not rotating enough and coming down steep…

I feel like I don’t turn my upper body enough in the backswing so I end up steep, but if I turn more deep I tend to chicken wing ugh
Driver tips

What is your swing feel when you hit driver? I keep struggling. I’ve worked on the over the top move etc. Majorly inconsistent. I played 18 today. First hole nice drive, straight and long . Rest of the day a struggle save about 3 other holes. I’m not getting enough power, hitting it about 180. I know it’s impossible to say without a video of said swing, but I guess I’m asking did anybody have a light bulb go off on the feel in the swing?

Had my first colonoscopy a couple months ago, age 47. It’s not nearly bad as it’s made out to be. That liquid drink wasn’t that bad, wasn’t good but not what I thought… the fasting and drink is the worse of it
re: Any retro gamers here?
Posted by Jiggy Moondust on 5/3/26 at 11:18 am to The Cool No 9
I have my original Genesis, NES, SNES,64..original Xbox.. as far as retro consoles..
if you love retro games, go buy a mini nes or snes, they come with around 30 classic games on them.. they hold a lot more space though… download Hakchi, and retro arch .. easy tutorials on you tube… after that you need to get some roms. Vimms lair is a site with a just about every retro game you could imagine from Atari, NES, SNES, Genesis, Turbografx16 etc….
You can also get neo geo games to play on it but it was a little more confusing than the other consoles, Arcade games also like the Simpsons etc…
I put only NES, SNES, and Sega Master and Genesis games on it… I ended up putting 392 games. I probably could have gotten 400 but it was getting close on space…

re: Cities outside Louisiana that remind you of New Orleans
Posted by Jiggy Moondust on 4/15/26 at 7:40 pm to Galloglaich
I visited New Orleans a year ago, mostly played golf, but did get to burboun st, stayed in a house a few minutes from downtown.6 minutes from Superdome. So my experience was Bayou Oaks, TPC, burboun st. And a few eating places near where I stayed. So very minimal knowledge.
Charleston is cleaner and smaller with a lot of beaches nearby, from Edisto (quiet beach) to Folly( more going on) and IOp…
Only been to Savannah a couple of times, remember the waterfront and the Bridge similar but smaller than the Ravenel bridge in Ctown.. I remember a cool little bar called Abe’s on Lincoln if I recall..
Would have liked to had a few more days to explore NO

Foo fighters
I loved nirvana growing up, and the first three or so foo fighters albums. Then Dave’s nice fake guy persona is annoying and offputting
