SC was pretty good in the 70s with McGwire. Getting out of the ACC and wandering the wasteland hurt. They were in the metro in the 80s which had a few decent teams but meh..The colonial life arena is too big should of revamped McGwire arena just my 2 cents

You’re not, I’ve been saying that for a while. I saw one the other day with the dude doing the UGa bark and the boss lady looking at him all smug, in the background is a black dude looking smug too. So annoying.. the whites doing it in these commercials have no since of pride..

I only took two lessons, I didn’t like his style) I guess.. I would just show up and start hitting balls with a 8,9 iron and he would film behind and show me on the screen what I was doing wrong, which was fine, but he didn’t get technical enough I guess. Never looked at my grip or etc.. never hit my driver in those two lessons.. and he didn’t put me on a schedule, he was more like come back whenever I want kind of deal…

My issue is I’ll think I made good progress, let’s say with irons one week and then the next time I play I’m hitting them fat, or their not going far or very high..
But irons aren’t my biggest problem it’s the driver putting me in bad spots, I dont hit it that far but every now and then and now I’m slicing it more than I did..
I then go to you tube, think I find the eureka moment and get even more screwed up or disappointed when it fails

I have tried tons of stuff to remedy my problems.. I can’t hit driver that far, but I use to hit it straight, now I’m slicing it.. I was hitting irons on, now not so much… so frustrating.. I’ve tried different swings. Guess I need to get more lessons or just drink more out there

I remember wearing NeverMind out in HS.. blew my mind…. After Kurt died I listened to PJ more and enjoyed them, saw them a lot in concert.. never thought AIC was better than them… JMO. There is a Nirvana cover band that comes around and they are about the best cover of a band you can get.. called Nirvani.. going to be in gville in a few weeks may go and take the kids…

Don’t get me wrong, I liked all those bands.. nir, pj SG and AIC along with screaming trees

I drive a box truck and it requires def. Has a separate tank you fill. Last longer than a tank of diesel(do t have to fill as much) some bs about the environment

The Germans sixth army being encircled in Stalingrad is the thing of nightmares. -30 ,40 degree nights.. Starving on top of that. Goring (Lutwaffe)had said he could supply the troops with tons of ammo and supplies but only about 10 percent ever got thru.. the hopeless feeling they must have had…
Not as bad as Napoleon’s French retreating out of Russia. Starving, Freezing, Disease, Cossacks etc

Never had any issues until I turned 40. I broke 5 ribs, fractured shoulder, broken collarbone, punctured lung in a mtn bike accident..
Then a year later was in the hospital a week with covid pneumonia. Now just back and neck pains
