Antoine Michoud (for whom the sprawling rocket factory in east NO is named)

Amy Coney Barrett - US Supreme Court justice was born in NO.

Rusty Staub - born in NO. Had 2,716 hits in the majors but never inducted into the MLB HoF. Only player to have 500 hits with four different teams and one of four to homer before turning 20 and after turning 40 (Ty Cobb, A-Rod, and Sheffield the others).

Calogero Minacore, aka Carlos Marcello - Mafia man

What about Jim Garrison? He has pretty much been proven correct in that the Kennedy assassination was a conspiracy, likely with roots in NOLA.

Read “Dr. Mary’s Monkey” for starters.

Great thread as always.

Curious about how often you attend Saints games? When is the last Saints game you went to, mate?

No list is going to please everyone, but yours delivers what was promised within the specified criteria. It's also rather obvious that some actual thought was put into assembling this list.

Well done.

Mother would be disappointed to see that you left off the late Ray Berni. The lessons and skills he developed in you as a young man at Johnny Bright playground are a huge part of who you are today.

Friend,

Whereas a list like this is subjective, I would like to nominate Sal Impastato as opposed to his brother Joe for the food alone. Joe does a pretty good job, Sal does an incredible job.

Also consider Manny "Chevrolet" Bruno, as troubled times call for a troubled man.

My TulaneLSU Advent Journey book arrived last week and it’s been a great addition to our household.

Dear Friend,

Unless Stacey Dash is reading this list to me, I'm not opening it!

No Ratphuck - no care. Ratphuck came straight out of the Garden district and was one of the most explosive players to ever go to LSU.
