I'm guessing the 14 day periods under the "gating criteria" reset with each phase?

So to move to Phase 1 reopening, we have to have 14 days, then Phase 2, at least 14 days must pass since Phase 1 and we must meet the criteria, then to move to Phase 3, another clean 14 day measurement?

The only point I disagree with is the “elective surgery is part of phase two”.

My son would continue e-learning if it were up to him but he’s itching for sports to start again.

correct, so if starting on may 1st, we would have a complete reopening around the middle of june

Unless they give a timeline on how long between phases, that should be expedited.

Yep. Following these guidelines strictly will see most of the country completely open before Summer starts and the rest that is lagging behind will be completely open before the 2020-2021 school year.

And that's completely open. The stay at home orders can be lifted May 1 or even sooner.

These are solid guidelines. Good work from the WH.

I'm waiting to get knee scoped,so I'm hoping JBE goes to phase 1 in BR real soon! But for PPE concerns, I see no other reason why surgery centers can't get back to work.

I don't like that phase 3 says stadiums can have limited physical distance. Makes me think football will be affected if not all states are at this phase or beyond it.

I'm ready for Phase 4: Read about all of this in history books and everything back to normal.

I glanced but didn’t see a target date or timeline of phases. Is that listed?

It's everything listed on page 2.

Basically, if today you meet all the criteria on page 2 then you should move up a phase. So, after 14 days of blah, blah, blah, you move to phase 1 of reopening. Then you start counting again. After 14 more days of meeting all the criteria, you move up another phase. If you see evidence the virus is coming back, you slide back a phase.

This is going to be like the terror alert bullshite.

PROTIP: We will never reach phase three. We are at war with COVID-19. We have always been at war with COVID-19.

Phase 3 happens comes in a about a month for almost everywhere.

Football is totally safe unless there is a long and sustained rebound.
