A Cup of soup in a mug on a cold day, or when you are sick, is delightful.

Nice deep spoon for the chunks and drink the broth

It's pretty damn weird. More convenient to freeze the soup into popcicles and suck on them throughout the day.

A mostly brothy soup, like miso, end of chicken noodle after I’ve eaten the chicken, or even tomato soup….. yes

Ain’t no way in hell I’m slurping down a loaded potato soup tho lol

I do this when I have something going which I want a little bit all day of.
Homemade veggie when it is cold out or gumbo on a game day.

Love this move in a duck blind. Coffee in one hand, soup in the other.

Sure. Why not. Might not be viscous enough to work though.

True,

Heck if you do some cowboy cooking, you can take the top off, cook it over an open flame and no dirty dishes.

As long as you don't slurp, it's fine.

Totally valid. Much less likely to spill it out of a cup. I'm a total freak I eat cereal out of a cup, it's like walking around cereal.
